From the Campus to the Community
The story of FLC began on the campuses of SFU and UBC.
Our founders, Alphil Guilaran and Bobby Ning, launched the company with a powerful idea; financial skills should belong to everyone.
Starting with their university colleagues, they began teaching basic financial survival skills, how to handle rising tuition, credit card debt, and student loans. This led to a meeting with the President of the University, and soon to serving the financial literacy needs of the student body to empower the leaders of tomorrow. As the student club grew, requests for workshops outside the four walls of a university campus grew. From the campus to the community.
